These photos are from last week. You can tell because there is still a lot of snow hanging around and it is gray and shit outside. This is actually the outfit I was wearing back in my iPhone boots photo – so, yeah, here’s the rest.
I wore this dress here, in teh summa time. I, like all the rest of you crazy bloggers, have slowly started giving the sartorial finger to winter and wear really inappropriate things, no mind to the weather outside. Hey and look, I had super short hair!
I scored this sweater at Goodwill for like 5 bucks and I really love it. It’s long enough that I can get away with wearing leggings as pants and not feel like la lohan. Also, can someone tell me why it’s impossible to buy tights past January 30th? I get that we’ve all got to make way for the Spring stuff, but c’mon….still snow all over the ground and what is a girl to do if she snags her only pair of gray tights? Hmm? And let’s face it. Rumi, I am not.

And now, a glimpse into my life at work for a laugh….
We are breaking down the current exhibition and I decided it would be a good time to climb into a box. p.s. styrofoam popcorn is quite possible THE most ANNOYING man-made substance on Earth. Sticks to EVERYthhinnggg

Hahaha, that Rumi comment made me laugh. I even live in nyc and feel like i can’t get away with ripped tights! I think you have to be taller than 5’8 and under 100lbs to get away with the look. oh well, whats a normal girl to do.
That sweater on the other hand is awesoem. total score.

i love all the mixing of prints going on here! and textures too- i love a good spring dress/ heavy sweater combo. those cozy boots are a nice finishing touch. and i am LOL at your work photo. a hard day on the job.

Um FAVORITE thing to do as a child and pretty sure I would enjoy it just as much now. And Your look reminds me of the Burberry Prorsum collection that I loved so much – the boots especially!
