this is an outfit from a couple of days ago. i can’t seem to get enough of stripes these days, and i laughed when i was putting away my clothes the other day to count something like ten different striped shirts/sweaters in all. they do go with everything, and are a little more interesting as an under layer than just a solid color. i’ve clocked about a gazillion miles this winter in these boots and am ready to give them a rest (much as i love them), but the vest is not going anywhere any time soon. i freakin love this thing.
so incredibly saddened to hear about alexander mcqueen. it’s hard to imagine the fashion world without him.

I am an accidental stripeaholic for sure. I don’t even realize I’m buying them all the time but then when I got to put together outfits, I’m like, geez where did all these stripes come from?
I’m also proud to say that I bought a new trench yesterday after seeing all the great coat looks in this blog. Yay inspiration.
Stripes are here to stay. I am seeing them everywhere, including my closet!
